Your responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice capacity planning strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Responsible for short, mid and long-term capacity planning and for developing these processes
• Responsible for item level consumption forecasting and for developing these processes
• Assess existing capacity and develop operational plans and forecasts based on future plans for demand
• Monitor key processes for capacity and demand, identify capacity constraints and provide analysis
• Develop tools and processes to deliver accurate, effective item level consumption forecast and capacity planning
• Set objectives/KPIs, review ways to enhance the performance of forecasting and capacity planning
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that accurate information is used for planning purposes to meet operational requirements
• Regularly communicate plans and forecasts to internal stakeholders, review plans to ensure efficient resource allocation
• Attend meetings and update others on issues and concerns, in particular when there is a risk of not meeting customer demands or concerns of overcapacity

Your profile

• Understanding of Print-on-Demand production and general knowledge of different print types
• Experience in capacity planning and forecasting
• Knowledge in statistics, forecasting and relevant methods/techniques
• Experience of delivering results through cross-functional work
• Proven people management skills
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and skills, including Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new software
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form and maintain strong relationships both internally/externally and engage with stakeholders
• Strong statistic and reporting skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and manage information, data and trends
• Very good English skills, German is a plus
• Willingness to travel (25% on average)
